Tourism professionals from around the world will return to Dubai next week. This is when the Arabian Travel Market, the leading event for the Middle East’s travel industry, returns on Monday, 9th May. During the four-day tourism showcase, which concludes on Thursday, 12 May, the show will welcome more than 20,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibiting companies from 112 countries ranging from Japan to Jamaica and South Africa to Italy.

Arabian Travel Market to open next week in DubaiMeetings between industry professionals will be held to discuss the latest trends in travel, such as technology, transport, sustainability, events, and business. In line with the theme of ATM 2022, Future of International Travel and Tourism, exhibitors and attendees will be able to share details, brochures, and marketing materials via innovative scanners and badges, eliminating the need for business cards.

Another highlight of the technology focus will be the revamped and rebranded ATM Travel Tech event, previously called Travel Forward. NEOM will present a variety of exciting sessions, including its vision and strategy for creating memorable experiences. In addition, Emaar Entertainment will examine the future of visitor attractions, travel trends, and what’s next in distribution, attraction tech, and guest experiences.

There will also be in-depth buyer forums dedicated to India and Saudi Arabia, live interviews with aviation and hospitality experts, and the return of ILTM Arabia. Taking advantage of the growth of regional tourism investment, the ATM-ITIC Middle East Summit will tackle access to project finance in the post-COVID-19 era as well as a high-profile ministerial session. After the success of ATM’s hybrid approach during the global pandemic, the third edition of ATM Virtual will be held from Tuesday, 17th to Wednesday, 18th May 2022.
